A customer contacted us because the navigation menu on his site had become all messed up, particularly on mobile. We discovered that the installed theme being out of date was causing the problem, however the website owner did not have a purchase code for the theme and therefore we could not update it to it’s latest version. The site had been designed by a company that was no longer in business and it was this company that had purchased the theme.
We were able to completely fix the menu issue on mobile but only partly fix the menu issues on larger screens, such as laptop or computer.
We explained the situation to the customer and he was very happy that we fixed his problem as best we could and he was also delighted with our response time.
We gave him some advice around the quality of the theme that was in use and how he might deal with this in the future. Again, he was very happy with our service and of course we were delighted to be able to help him in any way we could.
